When visitors access particular sections of this website, such as Customer Care or request information or services, they may be subject to the insertion of personal data, whereby Zanichelli Meccanica S.p.A., being the Owner of the data handling, will treat this information in respect of the D.Lgs. 196/2003 “Code for the protection of personal data” (hereinafter referred to as “Code”).
It is important that the user become familiar with this information before inserting any personal data for access to the various sections of the website, where it is explained how Zanichelli Meccanica S.p.A., handles the user’s personal data.

From the user’s access, the following information is always gathered and memorised: name of the Internet Service Provider, browser, name of the consulting website and the pages of interest.  This information is used for statistics purposes to measure the frequency of consultation, with the aim of updating the website according to the users’ requirements.

Purpose of the Treatment
According to the needs indicated by the user who accesses the various sections of the website and Customer Care, the purpose of the personal data treatment given directly by the user when filling in the forms on line, may be the following:
a) allow registration to the website, that is necessary for access to specific sections and to deliver and control the various services offered;
b) with the user’s consent and until its withdrawal, make marketing research (such as the sending of promotional and publicity material, purely as an example and not limited to such, carrying out connected analyses on the registered user, that allow Zanichelli Meccanica S.p.A., to improve services and products offered to its clientele); via e-mail, fax, mms or sms, with the user’s prior consent and until its withdrawal;
c) sending of newsletters as an update on new products or services available;
d) response to users’ requests related to Zanichelli Meccanica S.p.A., services (made under the “Contact us” section of the website).
The user registration to the website is not required for all services offered by Zanichelli Meccanica S.p.A.  Users will however be invited to give their personal data, in order to reply to their specific requests, data that will be treated solely in relation to the request and for the time necessary.

Personal data may be brought to the knowledge of the Owner’s employees or collaborators, who operate under the Owner’s direct authority and are nominated as responsible or in charge of data processing under articles 29 and 30 of the Code, for which they receive adequate training; the same will apply to the employees and collaborators appointed by the people in charge of data processing.

Field of communication or diffusion of the user’s personal data
Personal data supplied directly by the user when filling in the forms on line, will not be disclosed or spread to any third party.

Access rights to personal data and other rights
In accordance with art. 7 of the Code, the party concerned, has the right to obtain and confirm the existance or absence of personal data of its concern, even if not yet registered and its communication in an intelligible  form.
The party concerned has the right to obtain information about:

b) the aim and means of data treatment;
c) the logics applied in case of data treatment collected via electronic instruments;
d) the identification details of the owner, person in charge and representative appointed for the Italian State Territory, where applicable;
e) the subjects and category of subjects to whom the personal data of the person in charge or appointed as such, may be communicated or who may be informed of the data as appointed representatives within the Italian State Territory.
The party concerned has the right to obtain:
a) the update, rectification, or, where applicable, the integration of the data;
b) the cancellation, anonymous transformation or block of data handled in violation of the law, including data that does not require storage, based on the scope for which the data had been collected or subsequently treated;
c) the confirmation that the operations as expressed in a) and b) have been made known, including their content, of those to whom this information has been communicated or disclosed, with the exception of the cases where such fulfilment is impossible or involves the use of methods that result clearly unproportional to the respect of the protected right.  The party concerned has the right to fully or partially object to:
a) the treatment of their personal data, for legitimate reasons, even though pertinent to the scope of collection;
b) the treatment of their personal data for sending of publicity material or direct sale or to carry out market research or for advertising purposes.  The above rights can be exercised directly, in writing or by proxy to individuals or associations.

Exercising one’s rights in relation to the Code art. 7 and Personnel responsible for the processing of personal data

Access and modification of personal data
If personal data has been given to Zanichelli Meccanica S.p.A., via registration under the reserved area of the website or by filling in the form under the section “Contact us”, it is possible to request modification at any time by sending a registered letter with return receipt to Zanichelli Meccanica S.p.A., with headquarters in Parma, Via Mantova, 65 or by sending an e-mail to: info@zacmi.com
