The Flotation Washer ultimates the product washing and separates the remaining waste. During its operating cycle, the product is loaded into a feeding tank and drops onto a belt where the heavy waste is separated.
The belt is structured to stop the dirt, whilst the product enters the flotation tank. Inside the tank the lightweight floating bodies are expelled through mobile blades, whilst a specific current conveys the granular product. The latter is lifted soon after in order to reach a dewatering drum where it is washed for the last time with non-recycled network water. The drum rotation facilitates the product discharge towards the following machine. The transportation and washing water is firstly filtered through a self-cleaning rotating filter and recirculated soon after.
